The Itinerary

Day 1:
Day 1:

Meeting at Eleftherios Venizelos Airport and departure for the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. Check-in at the hotel.

Overnight stay in Tbilisi.

Day 2:
Day 2:

After breakfast, we'll start our tour in the old city of Tbilisi. First, we'll visit the Georgian Orthodox Church of the Assumption of the Virgin at Metekhi, offering a great view of the old city. Then, we'll head to the Narikala Fortress for a panoramic view of the city. Next, we'll explore Chardin Street, known for its cafes and galleries. Later, we'll see the unique public baths in the old city. Finally, we'll visit the Jvari Monastery and the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta.

Overnight stay in Tbilisi.

Day 3:
Day 3:

After breakfast, we'll take a three-hour trip outside Tbilisi. First, we'll visit Ananuri Fortress and Zhinvali Dam. Then, we'll stop at the Friendship Monument in Gudauri. Next, we'll head to Mount Kazbek and reach the Holy Trinity Church in Gergeti.

Finally, we'll return to Tbilisi for the overnight stay.

Day 4:
Day 4:

We'll visit Dilijan National Park known for its dense forest and springs. Then, we'll take a boat ride at Lake Sevan, enjoying the picturesque landscape. Finally, we'll explore the old city of Yerevan.

Day 5:
Day 5:

We'll tour Yerevan, starting with Echmiadzin Cathedral, the oldest in Armenia. Then, we'll visit Republic Square with its musical fountains. Next, we'll head to the famous Cascade for great views of the city and Mount Ararat. Free time to explore more.

Overnight stay in Yerevan.

Day 6:
Day 6:

We'll visit Garni's Hellenistic temple and the UNESCO-listed Geghard Monastery in a gorge. Enjoy a bread-making master class. Finally, we'll explore the Tsahkadzor winter resort.

Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 7:
Day 7:

Today, we'll visit Khor Vipar Monastery near Mount Ararat, followed by Noravank Monastery in a canyon. Then, we'll explore the renowned Areni winery and the historic "Birds' Caves" with ancient artifacts.

Day 8:
Day 8:

Transfer to the airport and return flight to Athens.
