DESTINATION

Georgia

The Destination:

Gyristroula, under the Bliss Travel umbrella, invites you to embark on a journey to the capital of Georgia, the enchanting Tbilisi. As a former Soviet Union country, Georgia has firmly established itself and is now a particularly intriguing destination. Located between the Caucasus and the Black Sea, Georgia, the ancient Colchis, stands out as one of the historically significant countries in the region. Tbilisi is an unexpectedly beautiful city, boasting a plethora of points of interest that truly astonish the traveler. Join me on a delightful journey to this less-explored corner of Europe. We will explore both Tbilisi and noteworthy landmarks and cities beyond. In the country where wine was first discovered, we’ll visit vineyards, delve into ancient winemaking techniques, and savor their exceptional varieties. We’ll uncover fortress-cities, early Christian temples, Stalin’s birthplace with its surreal atmosphere, and much more. As always, the group will be kept small, and our aim is to cultivate a wonderful travel companionship.
