Head to the sacred site of Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games and marvel at the archaeological remnants that lay there before stopping at the enchanting village of Kardamili.
DAY 5 & 6 (Mani & Monemvasia)
These two days will be all about exploring and getting to know the true side of Greece. Discover the Kardamili village and be introduced to the local life and traditions. Travel to the astonishing village of Mani and take a glimpse of the glorious medieval towers of Vatheia. Spend the next day visiting the charming castle of Monemvasia island located in the southeast part of Peloponnese. The island used to be a might fortress during the 10th century and it now embodies several stunning Byzantine churches!
DAY 7 & 8 (Nafplio & Epidaurus)
Head to Nafplio, a coastal city which is considered a more touristic destination, especially among Greeks. Wander around its colourful streets and don’t forget to check out the Palamidi fortress and the Bourtzi Venetian castle. When staying at Nafplio, visiting Epidaurus & Mycaene is a must-tour activity for every visitor. Both locations are UNESCO World Heritage sites and for good reason since they have been impressively preserved for thousands of years carrying along the glory of Greek Ancient history.
On the last day, reach Athens and its International airport to depart and return home full of new memories and meaningful encounters. And like this, an awe-inspiring and unique journey to Greece comes to end!
